Cypress Prime™ 42 x 42 battens are supplied Dressed All Round with a four-sided pencil round (DPR) finish. This process creates smooth faces and softened edges that improve ease of installation, finished appearance, and overall fit while reducing the need for secondary machining on site. Cypress Prime™ 42 x 42 battens are not rough-sawn or mass-produced hardware-store timber. Additional machining, precision profiling, and careful handling contribute to a more refined standard.

Coating & Finishing

Cypress Prime™ 42 x 42 battens must be coated with a high-quality penetrating oil prior to exposure. This helps stabilise the timber, enhance its natural colour, and protect against weathering. We strongly recommend Equisol Pro 365, a premium penetrating oil system suitable for external timber applications. Equisol Pro 365 can also be tinted in a wide and attractive colour range, allowing the finished structure to be customised to suit architectural and landscape designs.

Cypress Prime™ 42 x 42 battens are supplied Dressed All Round with a four-sided pencil round finish, creating smooth faces and softened edges that improve handling, appearance, and installation while removing the need for secondary machining on site.
