Cypress Prime™ Posts

Cypress Prime™ Posts are a premium engineered structural Cypress solution designed for modern Australian construction, landscaping, and outdoor projects. Combining structural strength, natural durability, and a clean, refined finish, our Cypress Prime™ posts are ideal for residential, rural, and commercial applications.

What Is Cypress Prime™

Cypress Prime™ Posts are part of our proprietary Cypress Prime™ structural timber range, developed for projects where structural performance, finish quality, and installation efficiency are all essential. Manufactured from structural F7 Queensland White Cypress where applicable, this premium post range is designed for applications requiring dependable performance and a more refined, installation-ready finish.

DPR Finish & Machining

All Cypress Prime™ Posts are supplied Dressed All Round with a four-sided pencil round (DPR) finish. This process creates smooth faces and softened edges that improve ease of installation, finished appearance, and overall fit while reducing the need for secondary machining on site. Cypress Prime™ Posts are not rough sawn or mass-produced hardware-store timber. Additional machining, precision profiling, and careful handling contribute to a more finished standard.

Built for Efficient Construction

Cypress Prime™ Posts are a site-ready structural timber solution designed to reduce on-site labour, streamline installation, and deliver a visibly higher-quality outcome in exposed applications and outdoor structures. Combining the natural durability and visual appeal of Cypress timber with modern engineering, Cypress Prime™ Posts are well suited to residential, rural, landscaping, commercial, civil, and infrastructure projects across Australia.

Compatibility with Steel Bracket Systems

Cypress Prime™ structural posts are compatible with all major bracket and fixing systems, including systems from Modaprax, Toja Grid, and Pryda. This makes the range well suited to modern construction methods that rely on exposed steel connections and prefabricated bracket systems.

Coating & Finishing

All Cypress Prime™ Posts must be coated with a high-quality penetrating oil prior to exposure. This helps stabilise the timber, enhance its natural colour, and protect against weathering. We strongly recommend Equisol Pro 365, a premium penetrating oil system suitable for external timber applications. Equisol Pro 365 can also be tinted in a wide and attractive colour range, allowing the finished structure to be customised to suit architectural and landscape designs.

Important Note

Cypress Prime™ timber is supplied independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supplied by Modaprax®, Toja Grid®, Pryda®, or any other bracket manufacturer. Compatibility references are provided for general guidance only.

All Cypress Prime™ Posts are supplied Dressed All Round with a four-sided pencil round finish, creating smooth faces and softened edges that improve handling, appearance, and installation while removing the need for secondary machining on site.

Lighter natural timber tones ranging from pale yellow and golden hues to brownish red, together with generally straight grain, give Cypress Prime™ Posts a clean, versatile appearance suited to both contemporary and traditional applications.

Developed as a premium structural Cypress system, Cypress Prime™ Posts balance visual consistency with natural timber character to create a more refined and high-quality finish. Natural variation in colour and grain remains part of the material’s appeal, contributing warmth and authenticity while maintaining an overall premium feel.
