Description
The Highflow Cavity Batten, meets E2/AS1 standards, exceeding 1000mm2/ lineal metre of ventilation with 20mm grooves on both sides. HighFlow Cavity battens are also compliant with proposed condensation management requirements of NCC 2025 (Climate Zone 6-8). This batten enhances insulation properties of the wall frame, curbs moisture buildup, and features a bevelled edge for drainage away from the frame.

The 70mm x 36mm x 3600mm HighFlow Cavity Battens utilise the natural strength and workability of Engineered LVL Timber to ensure a high quality result on site. LVL is straight, strong and stable, making it ideal for high quality cladding finishes.

HighFlow Cavity Batten introduces a 36mm air cavity in the wall frame, which can improve the insulation properties of a wall system. Cavity installation is well suited to the testing Australian climate, and can also aid in compliance with energy efficiency requirements.
Moisture Reduction
Highflow Cavity Batten’s high ventilation capacity and moisture- regulating design prevent moisture buildup in the wall frame. This feature can reduce mould risk and promote healthier indoor environments.
Simpler Framing
As a structural element, the batten can be fixed directly to external studs without additional support required, simplifying installation and improving efficiency on site.
