Equisol Null effectively eliminates mould, algae, moss and lichen.

Equisol Null features an advanced formula that can effectively eliminate bacteria, mould, algae, moss and lichen by penetrating deep-rooted spores on various surface types. It has low toxicity, is biodegradable and environmentally responsible. When using it on timber, it is recommended to follow up with Equisol Prime and Equisol Vitalise to fully prepare for oiling.

Where to use:Equisol Null is suitable for surfaces including timber, concrete, steel, roof tiles, fibre cement and internal walls. Surfaces coated in paint or polyurethane film coatings need to be stripped and sanded first.

Description

Preparation

The surface should be swept and washed. Mask areas, as Null can damage other coatings.

Application

To begin with, wear protective gloves and goggles for safety. Then, get a clean plastic container and mix ONE part of Equisol Null with FOUR parts of water. Stir the mixture thoroughly.

Apply the mixture to the entire surface, not just the visible growth area, using a stiff bristle brush and scrub it lightly. Leave it on for 24 hours to ensure that it reaches deep spores. Keep the surface moist for as long as possible by lightly misting it with water to keep the formula mobile.

After 24 hours, rinse the surface thoroughly with a high-pressure water cleaner to remove the dead mould build-up and spores. Soak the surrounding vegetation to minimize damage to plants.

If you are using Equisol Null on timber, it’s recommended to follow up with Equisol Prime and Equisol Vitalise before oiling. For heavy mould growth on timber or in mould-prone areas, double the recommended dilution (mixing ONE part Equisol Null with EIGHT parts of water) and re-apply after using Prime and Vitalise. Leave it on as a sterilization agent to minimize future mould spore growth. Allow it to dry and do not wash off. Finally, oil the timber with Equisol for best results.
